Let's focus this bug just on the compiz performance issue. Please file
non-compiz performance issues separately, else this bug is likely to
turn into a "me-too" storm. ;-)
In recent days a new xserver 1.6 has been uploaded, which contains code
designed to improve -intel performance. Please re-test the compiz cube
view and report the framerate seen. Also please attach a fresh
Xorg.0.log from running with the 1.6 server.
