Hi,

I had the same issue with Glipper 1.0 and Ubuntu 8.04 . Just upgraded
to 8.10 and problem persists, even after uninstalling and reinstalling
glipper a few times (through apt-get). Going into preferences gives a
text field where you can type the key combination, rather than the auto
key combination (where you just press your key combo and it fills it in)
found in System>Preferences>Keyboard Shortcuts for the OS. If I type in
the Key Combination (such as Ctrl+Shift+V), it does not function.

The file located at /home/username/.gconf/apps/glipper/%gconf.xml is
being updated, not immediately, but within a minute or two .
Regardless, as the original post mentions, the only way to access the
list is to click on the icon.

If you need any other info let me know, looking forward to using this
again.
