Can you please run 'puppetmasterd --debug --trace' and paste the output? I'd be surprised if the xmlsimple issue was the actual cause of any crash, and indeed from the above message it's not clear that puppetmaster has actually crashed. If all this is is just a warning, this is a purely cosmetic issue, and I'll reassign the bug to libxml-simple-ruby.
