Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager
I know the title doesn't explain this bug clearly, I'll give an example: I start update-manager to update my system. It says: System was last updated three days ago. (or somewhat like this, I use Polish translation) I click "Check for updates". Some strange errors appear (it really doesn't matter what errors) and it fails to get information about available updates. Now it says: "System was last updated less than hour ago" What??? It was last updated three days ago, as it failed to check for updates... I use Ubuntu 8.10, update-manager in version 1:0.93.34. ** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Update manager shows invalid value in "last updated" field if failed to get package list https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/307851 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
