I have just install kubuntu 8.10, with kde 4.1 system shortcuts, configured in <system-settings> -> <keyboard & mouse> -> <Keyboard shortcuts> work ok.
But, I want to add shortcuts to programs in kmenu. I did: right-click on kmenu icon, "menu editor" System/Konsole (for example) Advanced tab "Current shortcut key" - i entered "windows key" - n, it shows "Meta+N" Save when i press windows-n - nothing happens. I logged out, logged on text console (not in kde), removed mentioned .kde/share/config/plasma-appletsrc and even rebooted machine, but the shortcut still doesn't work.
