I was revising the https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/298465, and in this case, "Hanno Stock" report only that he has no digital sound (I assumed that he has analog sound). Reading the alsa-info posted by him, I have noted that (in Kernel Information Section), the Architecture is i686, and contraryly to my case, the Architecture is x86_64 (I have installed Ubuntu for AMD64). Then, in the case of Hanno, alsa-info says that Ubuntu has loaded the module snd_hda_intel, but in my case, Ubuntu doesn't load it.
May be the distribution for AMD64 has got the problem? 2008/12/8 Pedro Zampa <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > well, thanks at all, but, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong with > this.. > > (before anything, sorry for my english) > > I have updated the kernel with the 2.6.27-10 in the proposed repository and > still haven't got sound.
