I have the same problem, Dell D630, Ubuntu 8.10 amd64, now on 2.6.27-10 but happened also with 2.6.24 and also previously with Ubuntu 8.04. My problem is that I don't have the laptop set up to suspend when lid is closed (how do you do that anyway?), so I need to reboot when the keyboard is not working. My colleague which has the same laptop has the exact same problem. What other information can I provide to get this problem fixed?
