Hi. This symptom is still under 8.10 with and without the latest patches. After changing the /etc/mythtv/session-settings to MYTHWELCOME=TRUE and/or changing the autostart command from mythfrontend to mythwelcome, mythwelcome will overrun back to the desktop. What I mean is, you see for a little second the mythwelcome window and after this the mythbuntu desktop. Than, if you start mythwelcome manually, it will working well. Best regards Martin
