Would you be able to quickly test and confirm this is still an issue
with the more recent Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release which contains a 2.6.27
based kernel? You should be able to test via a LiveCD. I understand
you are running Hardy and that Hardy is an LTS release but in order for
a fix to be considered for a Stable Release Update we need to confirm it
has been fixed in the actively developed kernel. Even though we are
actively developing for Jaunty Jackalope if you can confirm this is
resolved for Intrepid, it should not have regressed for Jaunty. Thanks.
