I have the same errors with fresh install of 8.10 and Nvidia GeForce 6150. The pci=routeirq argument didn't help. I started a help thread here if you want to view the error logs: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1002287 I have seen several threads with the same trouble while looking for solutions. I'm still running Intrepid if you need anything else:-)
