What kind of networking card does your A21p have?  They had a few
different versions (all of which are miniPCI cards).  Mine has the modem
only (the Ethernet port is covered on mine).  Since it's a
NetworkManager error (seems to be anyways), see if your A21p has the
combo card (both modem and Ethernet, easy to tell because you'll have a
working Ethernet port on the back of your machine).  Also, if you have
any USB or PCMCIA network cards inserted, remove them (my Broadcom WiFi
PCMCIA throws errors if the drivers aren't installed).
