as already mentioned, polling works fine but: - symbol stays broken - when the mouse pointer is overhead the symbol a tooltip is generated with altering messages: 1. the error message, 2. "Anmelden bei Google-Mail ..." (engl. sign in to google-mail?) and the message preview included.
