Just in case, I'm marking this as a possible security vulnerability. I
feel like sending a localhost connection you think is going through a
loopback interface through a proxy might be a bad idea from a security
perspective, but my knowledge on networking security like this is very
minimal feel free to correct me if I am being overzealous.
