my sudoers file is set to make sudo use the root password(*), a check
for the rootpw tag before changing the prompt might be overkill, but
would be more aesthetic, imo.

(*) I do this so that any remote attacker getting in with a users'
password still can't get root access, although afaik I am the only user
with sudo use and my password is decidedly secure... but it makes me
feel better :)
