Thanks for the attachments! I am not sure what exactly happens when you uncheck "Enable wireless". Perhaps it unloads the module(read driver) or put it in some "pause mode". If so, there will be _no_ wireless available in that hardware until the module is loaded again.
This is the wifi chipset we are talking about: Atheros AR242x 802.11abg uname -a: Linux sylph 2.6.27-9-generic #1 SMP Thu Nov 20 21:57:00 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux During resume, the module is loaded(good thing), but for some reason the link times out when it attempt to connect(this is the bad thing). (So, there is a bug somewhere, and it sound kernel related. Moving into linux) ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: network-manager => linux Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- No wifi after resume from suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303599 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
