On a Thinkpad after some recent update the volume down button gets interpreted as XF86AudioStop. It appears to be the same bug discussed in the forum above, and also http://digg.com/linux_unix/Ubuntu_8_10_Intrepid_Ibex_Review?t=20258854 and http://www.nabble.com/hal-0.5.11-r1-and-keyboard-layout-and-input- issues-td19151047.html (+some likely dupes in launchpad)
Adding the following in xorg.conf fixed the problem for me: Section "ServerFlags" Option "AutoAddDevices" "false" EndSection -- Intrepid: XF86AudioStop button incorrectly mapped as XF86AudioLowerVolume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/294400 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
