A friend of mine has the same problem.
She uses Ubuntu (started with Hardy, updated 2 weeks ago to Intrepid)
and has the problem with Times New Roman unbold (not with bold). She
detected no other fonts with the same problem.
She didn't have this problem until today.
If some more information is needed do understand the bug, I can provide
it.
