Thanks for the information. Your model number is F5D7633. There seems to
be a firmware update available for your model on the Belkin website.

1) Please update your router's firmware and see if that cures the
problem.

If it doesn't:

2) What happens if you reboot into Windows (losing connectivity), then
reboot the router (turn it off - wait 10 seconds - turn it back on)?
Does the router see your Windows PC after that?

3) What happens if your reboot into Windows (losing connectivity), then
unplug your ethernet cable at both ends, then replug your ethernet cable
into the same router port? Into a different router port?

4) Please run the Ubuntu terminal command "sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-
vvnn.log" and attach the resulting file "lspci-vvnn.log" to this bug
report. That will provide us a lot of information about your ethernet
connection hardware.

5) Please reproduce the problem, and then run the Ubuntu terminal
command "dmesg > dmesg.log" attach the resulting file "dmesg.log" to
this bug report.
