I have similar problems. Window Manager keeps crashing intermittently dropping me out to the KDE login screen. Occurs most frequently when scrolling in Firefox.
Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device in a laptop. Was completley stable running every version of Kubuntu that was installed on it (Feisty, Gutsy, Hardy). Now crashes frequently with Intrepid.
