Hi,
I have the problem with fglrx drivers and blender which looks similar to
this:
1) launch blender
2) pull down the top panel and go to the "Language & Font" section
3) press the "International fonts" button
--new buttons should appear
4) check that "Use texutred fonts" button is pressed
5) rotate the view (with middle mouse button) for 30 seconds, look a the XYZ
red green and blue axis in the lower left corner of the view.
Result: At some moment of time the X, Y and Z labels on the axis will
disappear. After that when hovering any button in the interface the text
label of the button is not rendered, sometimes button text labels blink
when doing some quite unrelated actions, like moving mouse pointer to
hover the menu bar.
This behaviour is not observed when fglrx driver is turned off and Mesa
is in use.
