Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
After todays updates (Jaunty) of the package xserver-xorg-video-intel the driver won't be loaded. I installed the updates, restarted the system (was required/asked), after the reboot I got the error message. Somehting like low screen graphics. (I'm sorry, I didn't write this down). I looked up in the xserver log, I found this: ============== (II) Scanning /usr/share/xserver-xorg/pci directory for additional PCI ID's supported by the drivers (II) Matched intel from file name intel.ids (==) Matched intel for the autoconfigured driver (==) Assigned the driver to the xf86ConfigLayout (II) LoadModule: "intel" (II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//intel_drv.so dlopen: libdrm_intel.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory (EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//intel_drv.so (II) UnloadModule: "intel" (EE) Failed to load module "intel" (loader failed, 7) (EE) No drivers available.
