Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
First, it's not a crash by Flash. I use Flash 10 successfully on various websites without any crash. Only on some individual websites Firefox crashes reproduceable while calling the URL. Those websitesare most without any plugin. Only HTML and CSS. One of those websites is the today Friday, 28. Nov. 2008 website of the Apple Store at http://store.apple.com/us or http://store.apple.com/de Calling Firefox from command line I get the following output after firefox's crash: desktop:~$ firefox ICEDTEAPLUGIN_DEBUG = (null) QPixmap: Invalid pixmap parameters The program 'firefox' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'. (Details: serial 11225 error_code 11 request_code 53 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) Locking assertion failure.
