The first time I installed eMacs under ubuntu, I didn't use the install process provided by ubuntu. And I didn't know where to look to run eMacs (I din't expect it to be in the Applications list). The second time that I installed it, I used ubuntu to install it. The second time, it did show up in the applications list and I was able to run eMacs. Both times, I was using ubuntu directly from the CD. I have not installed ubuntu to a hard drive yet. This problem should be marked as "Complete". Thank you for persisting in tracking down this problem.

C. Cole: do you still see this after a reboot? ** Changed in: emacs22 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- Emacs installed but not in Applications https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/282222 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. ________________________________________________________________________ New Music Releases - Free Full CD Listening Parties Every Week.
