I don't think that cherry picking is a good idea here. That issue is not some missing bounds or null pointer check (or similar obvious bug), instead we have a nebulous problem here.
For the fix between 0.2.1 and 0.2.2 (the Debian frozen version) I can provide a patch which might help and which is restricted to the changes in core (see attachment). But for 0.1.9, that's too different. Sorry guys, I cannot help you if you took a bloody EARLY version from Debian UNSTABLE and have put an LTS sticker on it. That's just your own design flaw in the release process and I have no motivation in helping to work around that. ** Attachment added: "acng_core_0.2.1-0.2.2.diff" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/19988402/acng_core_0.2.1-0.2.2.diff -- apt-cacher-ng hangs and corrupts packages (intrepid) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/302693 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
