** Description changed:

Hi! My linux box is like this:
Mother board MSI K9N2GM, chipset nVidia 8200
  CPU Athlon X2 5200
1 hdd SATA 40 GB on sda
1 hdd SATA 160 GB on sdb
- Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex 8.10
+ Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex 8.10 AMD64

  sda has 5 partitions: sda1 windows, sda2 boot, sda3 root, sda4
  (logical), sda5 home, sda6 unused

  sdb has 3 partitions: sdb1 ntfs 15GB, sdb2 swap 650 MB, sdb3 ext3 133 GB

ntfs partition is accessed via NTFS-3G driver.

In sdb3 I have all my music collection, the partition is accessed 99 %
with XMS. I realize of this freezes because the music stop for a
  relevant time (10-15 seconds).

I tried to format the partition but after a short while I had another
  freeze.

Attached lspci and dmesg after 3 errors in different days (error 3 is
after format), I got more freezes but I haven't the logs.
