Public bug reported: Xubuntu 8.10
When I change display resolution/layout by xrandr, grandr, or in Xfce4's "Display Preferences", there is odd flashing of some content in display. This stops in few seconds. This did NOT happen in Xubuntu 8.04. /etc/X11/xorg.conf may be empty to have this bug occur (although I have added some stuff there to allow extended desktop over two screens) . $ lspci ... 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller (rev 03) 00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller (rev 03) ... ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Some extra content is flashing in display when changing video mode https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/302325 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
