Public bug reported:

Xubuntu 8.10

When I change display resolution/layout by xrandr, grandr, or in Xfce4's
"Display Preferences", there is odd flashing of some content in display.
This stops in few seconds. This did NOT happen in Xubuntu 8.04.

/etc/X11/xorg.conf may be empty to have this bug occur (although I have
added some stuff there to allow extended desktop over two screens) .
