*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 299093 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/299093
I think that the duplicate status is wrong because my problem has nothing to do with alsa settings, as I should receive audio as long as master is set to 100, pcm is set to 100, and front is set to 100. I am not using the other audio ports. Also, under Sound Events, Sound playback is set as "HDA Intel ALC883 Digital (ALSA)", while Music and Movies is set to "Autodetect". Changing it to HDA Intel ALC883 Digital (ALSA) doesn't appear to give me sound, though. :-/ Normally, I'd just say the entire sound system is fscked, except for the simple fact that I get boot up sound [!]. -- No Sound in 9.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/301261 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
