I'm able to reproduce the problem as described here. I was trying to use a Zydas USB NIC while trying to qualify the problems with it (I was getting random kernel panics along the known kill-switch issue with the Intel G NICs- killed it doesn't panic...sigh...)- with it killed, NM doesn't seem to acknowlege the other NIC, it thinks erroneously that both are disabled. With it on, it seems to work more stably as long as I'm sitting on the Zydas and all nics show in the list and APs seen show...
Very, very annoying. If I'd not figured out some of what was going on, I'd have fell back to 8.04 and may still do so. -- Network Manager disables all wireless networks if kill switch is on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/286164 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
