2 weeks ago, I put Intrepid on my Armada (up from gutsy which had jerky sound however it worked fine in the sample movie w/ Nelson Mandela?!)
Same results. Jerky sound at best or system freezes when I attempt to play a cd or mp3. The sound in this laptop is quite good. It would be wonderful if someone figured this one out. It's been problematic for some time now. I'm too green to trash this 12 year old machine (which I've beefed up considerably.)
