Hi, I've just tested it with Cheese and it works, I've double clicked on Volume control icon and chosen USB Camera (Alsa mixer).
But, it is possible that my sound setting are not 'default'. When i installed Ubuntu i had problems with sound in Skype, so i had found some commands to run in shell and executed them.
