Binary package hint: hal-info
Hal-info version 20081013-0ubuntu3 (Intrepid) lacks support for the Novatel
EU870D which has vendor id 0x1410 and product id 0x2420.
To support it just add its device id to the "Novatel" section in
/usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/10-modem.fdi
