Hi all, It works with: xubuntu-8.10-desktop-i386.iso (Date 20. November. 2008) I have used: "create a usb startup disk" (usb-creator 0.1.10)
I got someting like "i/o error... replace disk!" I think it is because I have executed "create a usb startup disk" as normal user. Following commands have solved it: #new MBR : sudo lilo -M /dev/sdb #install bootloader: sudo syslinux -f /dev/sdb1 Works well on my IBM X41! My first semi-live (stores automatic etc and home!) system on an usb stick. Very useful for me!
