I have the same xorg.conf as "the designer" does.

Section "Device"
       Identifier "Configured Video Device"
EndSection

Section "Monitor"
       Identifier "Configured Monitor"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
       Identifier "Default Screen"
       Monitor "Configured Monitor"
       Device "Configured Video Device"
EndSection

Basically blank. I know Ubuntu changed how X works in 8.10 w/ no config file,
but I don't fully understand it yet. I'm so used to the old way, and at this
point, I think I may prefer it. Can anyone explain it? Could it be part of the
issue?
