This happens to me also with the vnc protocol. When I connect using the
Terminal Server Client the desktop hangs as soon as the client window appears.
If I kill tsclient within a terminal (opening the terminal with a keyboard
shortcut ), the desktop resumes and the vncviewer window works too.
For example:
- I open a new connection launching tsclient
- I put the vnc client password. The vncviewer appears showing the client
desktop, then everything freeze.
- I open the terminal with a keyboard shortcut. the "ps fax" command print
these lines at the end:
18929 ? S 0:00 tsclient
18973 ? S 0:00 \_ vncviewer -geometry 1280x960 ib
- Killing the tsclient process 18929 unfreeze everything
