Based on this jaunty changelog entry, I guess this is not an issue for jaunty:
* debian/pulseaudio.preinst: When upgrading from intrepid, remove /etc/X11/Xsession.d/70pulseaudio, as this was used to minimize a race condition when starting GNOME in intrepid. This race should not exist in jaunty once libcanberra is built to use pulseaudio as a backend. Please reopen if it is. ** Changed in: pulseaudio (Ubuntu Jaunty) Status: Triaged => Invalid ** Changed in: pulseaudio (Ubuntu Intrepid) Status: New => Fix Committed ** Tags added: verification-needed -- Can't start session after removing pulseaudio (/etc/X11/Xsession.d/70pulseaudio remains) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/294541 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
