Cool, Now the question is, is how to do this while having hotplug enabled? This way we can take advantage of the new features, as well as find a workaround until applesmc is fully workable in xorg, in some way or another. The option ignoreABI changes errors into warnings, but doesn't seem to be directed to evdev. I think the first thing is to locate the xorg.conf commands then go from there.
