I've taken a brief look at this and I'm not sure how the version could have gotten into this broken state (and I have verified that it is broken, as reported). I've just used autoppa-switch on trunk as:
autoppa-switch 1.0.24-0ubuntu0 intrepid and it generates the right version string: VERSION = "AUTOPPA_VERSION(1.0.24-0ubuntu0.8.10)"[len("AUTOPPA_VERSION("):-1] I wonder if the broken version was a result of an issue in AutoPPA (such as intrepid not being in the list of known Ubuntu releases) and if the recent changes Chris made to integrate autoppa-switch have fixed it? I don't have an AutoPPA environment in place here and it's late; tomorrow when I have more time I'll do a test build and see if the bug persists. -- VERSION is omitting the release https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/296729 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
