I don't believe it attracted any attention, other than me marking it as confirmed. However, I haven't been using Ubuntu recently, so I can't 100% confirm. But I believe there is still no virtual package for linux- ubuntu-modules, so there is no simple, automatic way to ensure these extra modules are updated whenever the kernel is updated. Unlike with linux-restricted-modules, linux-headers, linux-image, etc.
