Let me add one additional piece of information : the terminal windows (gnome-terminal and konsole) are all white when compiz is enabled in 16 bpp. I have to enter commands through alt-F2.
Upon looking at the compiz log, I see four problems : - Warn: No GLXFBConfig for depth 32 - Info: Couldn't bind redirected window 0x4000002 to texture - Warn: Bind Pixmap to Texture failure - Error: Couldn't create cairo context for switcher Any suggestion ?
