Let me join the group. I experience xsession crashes with intrepid ibex with nvidia driver 173 and 177 present in the repos. For me this issue is not random and i have been able to identify each time what to do to make session crash : 1- right click any Gdesklet 2- play with system-monitir
The strange part in my case is that if i enable metacity composite manager then i can't reproduce the crash, it goes the same if i replace metacity by xfwm4 the xfce WM. Anyone tried the 180 driver and can confirm if it solved the issue ?
