Public bug reported: Binary package hint: python-django
I'm not sure whether it's practise to wait for packages to appear upstream, but Django 1.0.1 is out as of November 15th, 2008 (http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/releases/1.0.1/). I'm hoping it can be made available in Intrepid.
