I have done a clean install of Ubuntu 8.04 and installed all updates. Then installed Gramps 3.0.1-1 (from repositories), gramps_3.0.3-1_Ubuntu804.deb (the latest stable release) and the Trunk version. Carried out all the tests that produced the original problem, but was not able to reproduce the problem in Hardy.
