Once again, the camera is working. I can take pictures and I can also use
luvcvideo to see what the camera can get as input. But, Video recording in
cheese does not work. This implies that video recording is broken. The
driver is fine. Can someone please help.

I also tried one more thing today - I tried to install all the w32codecs and
even tried mencoder and mplayer video recording. The problem is that they
are looking for avisynth.dll and I don't find that dll file anywhere. So I
am really stuck. Someone please help.

I am trying my best to debug this problem. Can the community please help me?
Is there some reward or respect for the efforts that someone is taking to
use the OS and not trash it in favor of a Microsoft licensed product? Please
help.

Thanks,
Balaji
