Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

So it would be great if Evince could provide the user to make a tag on a
pdf file, one that would stick, written down somewhere else, similar to
~/.viminfo file for remembering last cursor placement in vim.

This way one could make notes in say long pdf files like books etc, on
particular pages.

If it's not yet there, please do not bash, rather try and implement it
in the next Ubuntu evince release.

I'm sure it would be an appreciated feature.

Cheers
