Hello All: This continue to happen in Intrepid (8.10). Here is the work around in a more descriptive way:
1. Go the System > Preferences > CompizConfig Settings Manager. If you don't have CompizConfig Settings Manager installed, you do so by opening a terminal and typing "sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager". 2. Launch the CompizConfig Settings Manager. On the left column there is a "Preferences" button. Click it. 3.Click on the "Reset to Defaults" That is it. You are done :) Unfortunately, the bug continues. -- Shift key not working with compiz as active window manager. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/246081 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
