This is important for users not very computer-save, as they otherwise fail to add a correct filename extension - and for more experienced users it's convenient, as often one wants only change the name a little bit ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/eog NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx Package: eog 2.24.1-0ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: eog Uname: Linux 2.6.27-7-generic i686 ** Affects: eog (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- "save as" should provide current name and file extension https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298017 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
