Public bug reported:
On a newly installed 8.10 with a fairly large screen (1680x1050), the
default window size in Firefox is too narrow to accommodate the contents
of http://www.ubuntu.com/ resulting in a vertical scroll bar, which for
good reason is considered a somewhat grave usability problem.
IMNSHO the site should be redesigned to render without a vertical scroll
bar when viewed in the default browser out of the box.
