Ubuntu 6.10 Desktop i386, upgraded. nautilus 2.16.1, browser mode. Using path bar. (Sorry for calling it "history bar", didn't know the real name)
I get this behavior right on the Edgy LiveCD. First thing I do is launch nautilus then go to /home/ubuntu/Desktop/Examples. I press backspace twice, quickly enough. It doesn't happen using the location bar.
