Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: vlc

Hello,
I have Ubuntu Hardy. I'm trying to play a protected DVD (The Two Towers,
extended edition) with VLC, but the player crashes like 1 second after opening.
I tried to launch it from command line and I get this (the command I ran is :
vlc dvd://)

VLC media player 0.8.6e Janus
libdvdnav: Using dvdnav version 0.1.10 from http://dvd.sf.net
libdvdread: Using libdvdcss version 1.2.9 for DVD access
libdvdnav: DVD Title: TWO_TOWERS_EXT_D1

'/home/mboisson/.dvdnav/TWO_TOWERS_EXT_D1.map'

I am able to play the DVD from gxine or with "Movie Player", so it is
not a problem with libcss or libdvdread.
