Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 8.10 32-bit

Package ndiswrapper 1.52-1ubuntu1

Device: Trendnet TEW-424UB (i dont like the ubuntu-outofthebox driver, so I
tried ndiswrapper)
Installed the vendor Xp-driver, no problems
after unplugging the stick, ALL the USB-Ports are somehow "locked"
ubuntu did not recognize any usb device anymore!

here is a part of my syslog (after unplugging):

Nov 11 17:06:57 sony-vaio-laptop kernel: [ 1365.844096] unregister_netdevice:

the last message will be repeated to infinity and beyond... ( beyond
200-300 times)

after reboot, USB-Devices work fine again.
